INTRODUCTION

The personal data collector/scanner Z-1050 series is the newest generation of portable data collector, which is ZEBEX's 1st released product at the 21st century. Thanks to its ultra short optic system and the highest density image sensor, this makes the Z-1050 series very compact in size and yet eases to carry for any purposes.

Z-1050 series has a self-powered design using only two AAA alkaline batteries, and with two freshly new alkaline batteries, it can scan over 6000 barcodes. It also offers unique data/barcodes management in usage with power sensitive PDA, notebook, cellular phone and mobile data collection applications.

The Z-1050 series personal data collector is functioned to include a timestamp for every barcode scanned automatically. The timestamp data generates by the built-in Real-Time-Clock, and is indicated according to "month, day, year, hour, minute and second" order. The collector has a 32 KB SRAM memory backup battery that saves up to over 1000 UPC/EAN barcodes and timestamp data in its memory.
