8340 Series (Dot Matrix)

The 8340 Series printers are low speed dot matrix printers (2.0 lines per sec.). The 8340 is an extremely rugged with a long and well proven track record. The best selling model uses 4.5" wide paper rolls which is popular in restaurant applications. Standard features include a small footprint, 2 colour printing, and MCBF/reliability of 5 million lines and a printhead life of 70 million characters. They are available in 3.25" or 4.5" paper sizes and either serial or parallel interfaces.

The SP200 Series printers are low speed dot matrix printers (2.5 lines per sec.) with built-in Verifone 200 Emulation which are a great solution for POS and credit card authorization terminals. Standard features include a small footprint, semi-automatic paper loading. and MCBF/reliability of 2.5 million lines and a printhead life of 75 million characters. Printers are available in serial or parallel. The SP212 offers single color printing, and the SP216 offers 2 color printing.

The SP312/342 Series printers are high speed dot matrix printers which are a great solution for POS and Restaurant Applications. The stepping motor paper drive system has several advantages including quiet operation and adjustable line feed incrementing. Standard features include a small footprint, semi-automatic paper loading. and MCBF/reliability of 2.5 million lines and a printhead life of 75 million characters. Printers are available in serial or parallel. Optional features include journal rewinding, RS422 or 20mA Current Loop interfaces. The SP342 includes the Auto-Cutter. One line of check validation is also a standard feature. Twin print head high speed variations of the SP312 and SP342 are offered in the SP317 and SP347. These printers are the same in every resect as their single print head counterparts but can print up to 7 Lines/Second.
